From the first move on the abacus, a child begins to see numbers differently.
Mental arithmetic becomes understandable when the child can touch the idea before imagining it. TLG builds that transition gradually, from movement to a clear mental picture.
Ages 5-13 | 8 levels

Numbers begin as visible movement, so quantity and direction feel concrete.

The child learns place value and calculation through a precise bead system.

The physical tool is gradually recalled as a clear picture inside the mind.

The child calculates without holding the tool, while keeping the same structure.
Two paths, one advanced journey
A learning pace that fits the child’s age.
Ages 10-13
A more intensive start suited to the student’s age and mathematical background. The two paths meet in the advanced levels.
Each level includes about 24 training hours and usually spans three to four months, depending on the child’s attendance and class format.
What develops around the numbers
The numbers are the training. The real result appears in how a child thinks.
Parents first notice faster answers. The deeper progress is often quieter: listening carefully, holding steps in memory, and staying calm long enough to finish.
